Keeping girls in School, One Water Source at a Time
In Southwest Cameroon, girls leave school to fetch water.
We bring safe water closer to schools and homes, so girls can learn safely, without interruption.
Our Vision
A world where no girl is forced to miss school because of lack of water, where safe water, dignity, and learning are part of everyday life.
Our Mission
We ensure girls stay in school every day by making safe water available where they learn and live. Through practical water solutions and community-led systems, we help families protect their health and sustain safe learning environments.

Founder
Janet Mesang Epse Sama
Hope Spring For All Nations was founded by Janet Sama Mesang with a clear conviction:
No girl should lose school time because of something as basic and preventable as water.
Growing up in underserved conditions, Janet witnessed how access to basic services shaped whether children could remain in school or fall behind. Over time, a consistent pattern emerged: Girls were not dropping out due to lack of ability, but due to structural barriers, water collection responsibilities, household demands, and weak school infrastructure. What appeared as individual challenges was, in reality, a systemic issue affecting entire communities. This realization shifted her perspective. Education outcomes, she understood, are determined not only in classrooms, but by the systems that surround them. With this insight, she founded Hope Spring For All Nations to address a critical but often overlooked barrier to education: safe water access in schools. Together with her husband, she built a school-centered intervention model focused on improving infrastructure, strengthening hygiene systems, and supporting community ownership. Today, that model continues to support girls’ education by ensuring that schools function as stable, safe, and dignified learning environments.
Who We Are
Ensuring girls stay in school every day by making safe water available where they learn and live.
Hope Spring For All Nations is a community-focused organization working across underserved and rural areas in Cameroon to address one of the most preventable barriers to education: lack of access to safe water and adequate school-based hygiene systems.
We work directly with schools and communities to design and implement practical water and sanitation solutions that improve learning environments and reduce the challenges that keep children, especially girls, out of school.
Our approach is grounded in the understanding that education outcomes are strongly influenced by basic infrastructure and daily living conditions. When schools lack safe water, students lose learning time, attendance becomes inconsistent, and girls are disproportionately affected.
To respond to this, we implement school-based water and hygiene systems that strengthen attendance, reduce dropout risks, and improve long-term learning conditions. Our interventions are designed not only to deliver infrastructure, but also to promote behavior change and community ownership for sustainability.
At the heart of our work is a simple belief: when children have access to safe water and a dignified learning environment, they are more likely to stay in school, learn consistently, and build a better future.
Our Mission
At Hope Spring, we aim to bridge the gap for girls in education by providing consistent access to safe water. By working closely with schools and communities, we implement sustainable solutions tailored to their needs. Our focus is on the necessity of clean water to support educational opportunities for young girls. With your help, we can create a future where every girl has the chance to learn and thrive.
Your support enables us to continue our crucial work, impacting not just individual lives but entire communities. Join us in our mission to empower girls through education and safe water access.
